Revising

You've gone through all the prewriting activities and you've plowed through the writing process. Now what? Now it is time for the polish to be applied. This can be a long process, but a rewarding one nonetheless. When revising, it is important to ask yourself the following questions:

Are my details clear?
Should I add or take out portions of the story?
Have I used the best ideas and words to tell the story?
Is my writing in a sensible order?

So, what can you expect from me when you hire me to help with the revision process? You can expect me to help you answer the above questions and make sure your story reaches its potential. I have years of experience revising stories, both my own stories and stories written by other writers. You can expect me to read your story carefully with an eye for creative detail. I will suggest portions that need to be rewritten, I will help make your writing pop, and I will help make sure you are satisfied with the way your story is told. I work by the hour and will do as much or as little as you want me to do in order to make your story a great read for your intended audience.
