Writing

It is important to remember during the writing phase of your project that you must keep writing. It sounds simple, but it is one of the hardest things to do. Often during the writing phase, people want to keep going back and revising over and over to get one small section just right. Revising is fine, but that's not what we want to focus on here. Stopping over and over to revise during the writing phase can stunt the flow of your writing and severely slow down the process. The goal is to keep writing, to bust through any distractions or road blocks.

So, what can you expect from me during the writing phase of your project? The answer is simple: I will be available to you to help in any way you need. I can read over what you have written and help keep you on task. I can help you use your prewriting tools (outlines, notes, story oranizers, etc.) to help you structure the story. Some people even hire me to write the story for them. I work by the hour and am willing to do as much or as little as you need me to do to help your story come to life.
